布里亚特将举办“世界蒙古人”的展览和论坛

The working group organizing the “Forum for the world’s Mongolians” will hold a meeting in Ulan Ude, in Buryatia, Russia, sometime in February. According to the political dispensation of Buryat, The income of Buryat’s tourism industry will increase if the forum is a success. The Cultural Ministry of Buryat will organize a concert of Mongolian, Inner Mongolian, Kalmyk’s and Buryat’s singers and hold an exhibition during the festival. Also the main focus of the meeting, coming from the Ministry of Culture of Buryatia will be the debut of a book named “The Legend of the steppe”.

The book will consist of folklore from all Mongolian nations, and exerpts from other famous Mongolian nationals biographies, such as B.Renchin, Ts.Damdinsuren, Zanabazar, the Bogd Khan, as well as other notable people such as the tallest man, Gongor and Namkhai avarga. President Ilyumjinov from Kalmyk, and noted Mongolist scholar, Saishaalt, from Inner Mongolia were included in the book. Kh.Mergen is working to create the book about notable Mongolians. Buryats will build a “Cultural Palace” of Mongolia, while offering people Mongolian books, movies and newspapers.
